We have in collaboration with our customers designed and built in excess of 80 vapour cooled current leads ranging from 600A to 17kA and test voltage up to 5kV. Main weight is on resistive current leads, but we have also designed and built current leads utilising high temperature superconducting tapes. We can design current leads to a wide range of specifications and to suit existing equipment.
These leads were designed and built to meet CERN design-specification. The integrated auxiliary heat exchanger practically eliminates condensation on the helium return line and surroundings. The leads are for 600A, insertion length 1.4m, design pressure 20bar and high voltage requirement 2kV in Helium gas.
For integration in the Large Hadron Collider we have in collaboration with CERN built in excess of 360 assemblies of conduction cooled 60A current leads, technically specified and proprietary design by CERN.
Flexible simulation code allows us to optimise the current leads for specific static or dynamic scenario.
Current leads can be designed using estimated material properties and then theoretically optimised when the final material has been characterised.

We are comprised of 4 different companies. Today we are 50 employees and have 3800m² under the roof with design, construction department and mechanical and electric workshops.
We handle all processes from drawing to delivery and are specialized in different fields. The fields covers: machinery for representative sampling; process monitoring and sampling for power plants, development engineering and sub-supplier assignments.
